and filters, with this low running. What mechanical adjustments

Keeping the oil fresh and clean is one of the best ways to prolong the life of your car's engine. I have a car that i use once every month and it get approximately 30 miles. I do check the oil though for moisture. If theres moisture build up than you have to change it every 3 months. If the vehicle is parked outside than yes but if it is in a garage, no. you may want to think about just changing oil and not the filter. Do it every other oil change. Oil changes on a car that small should be pretty cheap, and it's good insurance. Motor oil, believe it or not has a expiration date. Sure, you're not driving 3000 miles in 3 months, but in that 3 months oil has been sitting inside of the engine and its properties will change. They won't be as viscous and will gum up the parts inside the engine.
At about $20 per oil change, it's a very good insurance policy.
