i am dumb @ss for not buyn SI buy whatever too late know and how much will it cost me to swap the engine from EX to SI i want V-tech power in my carHow much will it cost me to change the engine from 07 civic ex to si?first of all i dont think ur a dumb @ss for not buying an s.i.. i think its a good idea that ur gonna do a swap. because nobody will expect for an 07 ex to be fast. so you actually can have a sleeper in your hands. everyone expects for an s.i to be fast. heres what i suggest. with the money you saved from not buyin an s.i, you can get a nice *** setup for your ex. instead of an s.i engine, why dont you go k20A wich is civic type r. its alot faster than an s.i and its about the same price..and its not gonna cost alot because when you the swap your gonna have your ex engine wich you can sell for around 2k or more.. a k20a cost 5500. so if you sell your ex engine, your actually only gonna be paying 3500 for a k20A. and you will be roasting s.i's all day long..3500 for a type r is a great deal..stick with your ex and make it a sleeper. theres nothing worse than getting beat by a civic with ex badges.. thats the type of stuff that people lose sleep over. let me know if this helped

It will cost you the engine itself and the work. Be carfeul what you wish for though, you will probably be changing the Tranny as well as this is much different than the one on the stock 1.7 or 1.6 engine that you have.
