If would be cheaper maybe to trade it in for one that is already an automatic. This is because the change may require a different computer control as well as interior part changes.
It would take 8 to 18 hours at what ever the shop rate is for a mechanic. In my parts the shops charge 50 to 100 dollars an hour. THE TRANSMISSION IS THE PART OF THE CAR THAT MAKES IT A STICK OR AUTOMATIC, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF ITS POSSIBLE TO DO. IT'S MORE THAN JUST CHANGING THE TRANSMISSION, I'M SURE IT WOULD INVOLVE OTHER SYSTEMS SUCH AS ELECTRICAL ETC.
