How to change engine Oil on Cadillac cts 2005?

UK 2.8 engine Detailed pleaseHow to change engine Oil on Cadillac cts 2005?Changing the oil on just about any car is the same. Securely get the car high enough to slide under. Use jack stands or ramps, NOT just a jack. Turn the car on, and let it warm up for a little while(10 minutes or so). Turn the car off. Take the oil fill cap off the top of the engine. Slide your drain pan, or bucket, whatever you have, under the car. On the bottom of the engine you'll find a drain plug. It's normally about 3/4%26quot;. Either on the bottom or the side of the engine. It will be the lowest plug you see. Remove this plug and drain the oil. While it's draining, find the oil filter. You'll need a filter wrench. Remove the oil filter. If you don't have an oil filter wrench and don't want to buy one, you can stab the side of the oil filter with a screw driver and turn it. One that is removed, drain it too and dispose of it. Once the oil is finished draining out the bottom of the engine, reinstall the plug firmly. There is often a gasket that slides over the plug, make sure that is still there. Once you reinstall the plug, get your new oil filter. Fill the new oil filter partially with new oil. Smear a little oil around the rubber seal. Spin the new oil filter onto the engine. Get it hand tight, firmly. DO NOT use a wrench or otherwise to tighten it; just hand tight. Once that is done, fill the engine with oil. Normally around 5 quarts, check the owners manual. Check the dipstick to ensure the level is correct. Reinstall the oil fill cap on top. Turn the car on. Check for no leaks. Lower the car. You're done.
