How to reset the "change engine oil" notification on a 1996 deville?

I just bought a 96 deville and recently changed the oil myself and dont know how to reset the notification light on the dash!How to reset the %26quot;change engine oil%26quot; notification on a 1996 deville?This is a general GM reset procedure not sure if it works on the caddy but it's worth a try.Turn the key on to the run position pump the accelerator 3 times the light should flash and go out.If that doesn't work check the owners manual
