How would a deisel engine performance change in extreme heat?

this is totally theoretical. my truck exhausts gas at temp around 900 F if i remember correctly. what if the ambient air was also

900F how would the engines performance change. just the engine; i dont want to know about the rubber melting or the cloth seats catching afire. from a thermodynamic standpoint is what im looking for. also does liquid fuel temp in the tank affec performance in the engine? thanksHow would a deisel engine performance change in extreme heat?i think it will go quite fast before it blows up

yes the fuel temp in tank will affect performance
