Is it possible to change the engine output on a motorbike?

ok. for example.

when im 17 i can take the CBT to ride a bike under 150cc. But if i get a 250cc. am i able to put a cap on it or something so that it is under 150cc. so i can legally ride it on the road?

Because. There is no point in me getting a 149cc motorbike and then selling it again just so i can get a bigger bike after i have taken the propper test. I can just let my engine go to full again.

And if you can. how much does it cost?

thanksIs it possible to change the engine output on a motorbike?no you can,t make a bigger engine smaller 150cc is one hundred and fifty cubic centimeters so you can,t take a 250 cc and make it smaller..Best bet by a 125 enduro cheap and has the best re-sale value ride it for a year get you a real bike kike a CBRF41 honda or even a honda 919..Suzuki puts out a good line of sport bikes and so does kawasaki..Don,t waste your money on a harley unless you don,t really care about riding you will be broke down most of the time these honda,s come out of the box ready to rideIs it possible to change the engine output on a motorbike?Put a brick inside the cylinder to take up the extra displacement. Is it possible to change the engine output on a motorbike? No not possible to reduce the output of an engine. By the smaller bike and resell it at the end of your time with it. There is always a demand for entry level bikes.
