I noticed a kit that would change an engine with a carburetor to a fuel injected engine. How well do these work and how much is install for something like this? I have a 1981 camaro z28...fyi. Any links to affordable kits would be appreciated.Turning an engine into a fuel injected engine instead of an engine with a carburetor.?I'm not familiar with specific kits, but some of them replace the carburetor with a throttle body injector.
It is basically an electronic carburetor. Many cars in the eighties used them when injection first became popular. It uses one or two injector nozzles above the throttle plate. It is a simpler system than multi-port systems.
