Im very confused about how that works. I want to learn thoughIf I change my engine or my nissan 240 would i still have a 12 valve or would it be a 16 valve?What do you want in it?
If you're changing the engine, you can put either a 12-valve engine or a 16-valve engine in it. (Or other configurations)
If you put a 12-valve engine in, you'll have a 12-valve engine.

If it's a KA24DE 91 and newer (dual overhead camshaft) with plugs going in on the top then it's a 16 valve. However, Gate Valves do have low-pressure limitations, and are not optimal in applications that require cleanliness or sanitary conditions. They are excellent for use anywhere a shutoff valve is needed. They can also be used where throttling capabilities are desired, although this is not generally recommended as erosion of the seat and disc occurs due to the vibrations of the disk in throttling applications.
