How to change default search engine from Yahoo to Google?

I realize it's a kind of ironic I'm asking this on Yahoo Answers, but i prefer google search. I've gone to Internet Options, search settings, deleted Yahoo, and set google as my default, but yahoo keeps popping up as my default search engine, and after I do a search, Yahoo pops up again on the list, but google is still the default, yet it keeps using Yahoo, any ideas on how to change it so it works?How to change default search engine from Yahoo to Google?This link had detailed instructions on how to make Google your default browser, and to keep other browsers from coming up:

How to change default search engine from Yahoo to Google?if you have a search bar on your browser, you should be able to click on the drop arrow next to the symbol for that browser and click on 'manage search engines.' try changing the default there.
