Is it possible to change the engine running in land rover discovery with a newer engine 3.0 v6 instead of 2.5?

i wanna buy the 1996- 1998 land rover discovery II which has a diesel engine 2.5 four cylinders for fuel efficiency i know its very slow it gets 0-100 in 18.5 seconds the thing is i drive on the highway a lot so i need a car with faster response so i know the in the new models has a 3.0 v6 diesel 180 hp etc.... so is it possible to do the swap without the complications of computer and stuff how hard can it be if it is difficult how abt getting a petrol engine but mofidying to run on natural gas we have specified companies to do that so thats not the problem but wats the effect of it on the engine especially thats not a new car it must have at least 100thousand kilometer ( 60k miles ) at least thanks for ur help and please help meIs it possible to change the engine running in land rover discovery with a newer engine 3.0 v6 instead of 2.5?Yes with a few adjustments,.
